The first part to my new Story James woke up, to the smell of rusted metal and the taste of blood on the very peak of his tongue. Everything slowly started to reappear. First in shapes, then in colored shapes, to reality. There was a faint smell of gasoline on the air. He let out a few deep breaths and struggled to get up. His hands were dead in feeling. His lips were extremely dry, and his hands were sore and blistered. He lifted his head and a single bulb, with a pull chain extended from it, shone bright in his eyes. Better Left Unsolved...When I got home that night, Melissa was nowhere to be found. I reacted as any husband would. I checked all rooms and closets. I checked the backyard and shed. She was gone. I stumbled around to the maple end table where I had laid my phone. I dialed up Melissa and started searching again while it called. The call kept getting rejected, always two rings and then a click. I tried over and over as I tossed blankets everywhere, clothes, and even the tools in the shed. The last time I tried, it went straight to voicemail. There was a little excitement in me to hear Melissas sweet voice but to know that this simple sentence was just a recordiBetter Left Unsolved...

Thaddeus stood alone in a puddle of blood Not knowing what he had done He had seen a risk and a chance And took them both at once He ran through the night in shadows Black coat flew with the wind To kill a member of the royal family Was more then just a sin Blood dripped down his sweaty palms Tears ran down his rough face He realized he was far from any guards So he slowed himself to a steady pace He got down on his knees
As rain beat down his back Spread his arms out and at the sky he cried My love, my darling, no beau

Through Alleyways he ran Breathing heavily and swift, Thaddeus escaped severe judgment From the noose on the fifth
The watch broke out in scatter To catch whats only caught in myths, This unicorn still ran freely From his death on the fifth
It was now the fourth thaddeus still ran unseen and swift This vampire takes a risk in the day Till tomorrow the fifth
The sun rose, the crowd gathered Around the city square The noose hung down in center town
And thaddeus stood there
